ABOUT DR. HADLAND:

Scott Hadland is the head of adolescent medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. He is a teen addiction specialist whose clinical and research interests focus on preventing and treating drug and alcohol use. Dr. Hadland’s work is funded by the National Institutes of Health and the CDC and has been published The New England Journal of Medicine and featured in The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, NBC, and NPR, among other leading news outlets. This year, he was selected to the Presidential Leadership Scholars program, which brings together national leaders committed to facing critical challenges in partnership with the Clinton Presidential Center and George W. Bush Presidential Center.
